Federal Grants
The Federal Government provides money in the form of grants to help qualifying undergraduate students who demonstrate exceptional need pay for their education. Your child may be eligible for federal grants if he or she has not already earned a bachelor's degree. Unlike loans, grants do not have to be paid back. When students complete the FAFSA form, they automatically apply for federal grant programs.
State Grants
Recipients of state grants are typically required to attend an institution in their home state and to have resided in that state for a period of time. DeVry University participates in state grant programs in the following states:
- Arizona
- California
- Colorado
- Florida
- Georgia
- Illinois
- New Jersey
- New York
- Ohio
- Pennsylvania
- Rhode Island
- Vermont
Combining grants with scholarships can also help students further defray the cost of a college education.
